Children Portraiture
From newborns to teenagers, children are our speciality. Photographing babies as young as 9 days old, we offer studio sessions at our premises (Edmonton) or (for the youngest clients, when the parents don’t feel at ease with travelling) at your home. We believe newborns and babies under 1yo look their best wearing nothing at all (before those lovely folds all but disappear)! Accordingly, we love photographing them in a studio set-up, where we can control both the lighting and the climate conditions. As they grow and start exploring the world, we prefer photographing them in their natural surroundings-outside, in the nature! However, all kids are different and all families are different, and the ultimate choice of location lies with the client.

As the final output, we supply a range of products to suit every wallet and every house – from fully retouched digital files you can print yourself, to prints on metallic paper, canvas prints, collages and even magazine-style coffee-table books! You are welcome to see samples of all during your viewing session at our studios, about a week after the photoshoot.

Maternity/Pregnancy Photography
Every baby starts with a beautiful belly! Why not capture your divine form and the love that is already there, from the onset? We offer a great variety of “straight” and “arty” lighting set ups and a selection of props. We will capture a wide range of poses, with your partner and without, concentrating on showing off the form, as well as the relationship between you, your partner, and the baby.

These images always great in black&white, and can also be incorporated in collages with the newborns, after their arrival.
Please, note, when you follow your pregnancy photography session with a baby photoshoot within 12 months of the first one, your baby session is FREE!

Adult portraiture/Engagements
You don't have to wait for the big day to get quality images of you and your loved one. Dressed to your liking and at a location of your choice, Cheeky Monkey will capture the beauty of your relationship in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
